SUNOG

 once there was a maiden who found herself lost in the woods, and no matter how she tried she cant figure her way out. it was known that hungry wolves and vicious creatures roam in this forbidden place during night time. as the night started to fall she found herself lost deeper and deeper into the forbidden forest. she started to loss all hope

and just tried to walk herself to nowhere, hoping shell find a single clue. as the wolves caught her scent, they started howling and started chasing her, hoping to get full for the night. running hopelessly and helpless she stumbled herself upon a burning log probably left by hunters. upon seeing the fire the wolves fled to find another prey. while catching her breath she lay herself beside the burning log and made herself comfortable from the warmth of the flame. when all of a sudden she heard a soothing voice from that piece of wood. "what brought you here lady?", the voice goes. feeling surprised she shook her head and moved herself further from the flame. "don’t be afraid i am not hungry and fierce as the wolves in this forest","make yourself comfortable", the voice added. the maiden rested herself beside the flame, and they’ve gone talking for hours and hours. but what the maiden didnt realize, is that the log slowly exhausted itself to sustain the flame. and so dawn came, as the sunlight peeked through the leaves, the log is almost entirely burnt. before it would entirely turn to ash the log gave the maiden the directions back to her place. the maiden was so happy that she hopped and jumped her way out of the forest. as the log saw that the maidens already safe he said to himself, "im happy you have been comfortable with the warmth from my flame though you havent understood the pain. though i wanted you by my side, i know you deserve a home rather than being with a dying flame" .
