carry me to eternity
to an endless night and a dreamless sleep
banish me into the oblivion
and as my soul slumbers i shall lie on your wings

as i slowly close my eyes
and breathe my last, i gently felt your warm embrace.
now my time has come and my end is here.
as the curtains close i shall lie on your wings.

i have lived for nothing and have died in vain.
have loved no one and died in pain.
was waiting for someone but nobody came.
as my worthless life ends, i shall lie on your wings.

until the last moment i have been asking,
why i have lived if it was for nothing.
will somebody shed a tear and be in pain
